New Macbook Pro
Hot on the heels of the ever popular MacBook is its sibling, the
new MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro is a line of computers that was
introduced to the public sometime in January 2006. The said
notebook was Macintosh’s replacement for it’s now phased out
PowerBook G4, and is known to be on the high end of the MacBook
computers.
Since its introduction to the public, the MacBook Pro has undergone
certain changes two times. When it came out, the design of the
MacBook Pro was deemed to be a carry-over from the PowerBook G4.
The difference was that it now used Intel Core central processing
units instead of the PowerPC G4 chips that were used in the
PowerBook G4. The computer’s design was reinvented two times, but
for both designs the MacBook Pro still utilized aluminum for its
casing. Currently new MacBook Pros range from 13-inch, 15-inch, and
17-inch models.
One of the reasons why the new MacBook Pro is so popular is because
it has often received reviews praising it for its practically
complete package. The computer is pretty much built for hard using
and is known to be packed with various software and hardware
features that work well together, giving the user an opportunity to
do almost anything without having to install other software.
New MacBook Pros that are now in circulation have the highly
coveted Core i5 and i7 processors which have been reviewed as one
of the fastest offerings of Intel Core. In terms of graphics, many
graphic artists prefer to use the new MacBook Pro mainly because of
the crisp display and graphics capabilities that have fast
processing time especially when working with heavier images.
Another thing about the new MacBook Pro is that the battery life of
the new models is better compared to the ones that came ahead of
them. This was achieved by combining a larger capacity for the
battery as well as greater energy efficiency. In fact, the new
MacBook pro can last up to 10 hours of power when fully
charged.
